ABOUT COACH VC

Dedicated his life to learning all elements of the game of tennis. Vince Casariego (Coach VC) has 4 books on the game of tennis with specific training modules to help both coaches and players alike. He has mapped out over 120 skills that helps players continuously improve regardless of age or skill level. In his books and video training series he shows the importance of skill based training plus pressure training on his students to ensure the skills are ready for tournament play. He used his training system to produce numerous top 10 players in the state and top players in the nation (including #1 in boys 16s and 18s) while working at Westwood Country Club and at St. Stephens Tennis Academy. He has also trained numerous collegiate players over 13+ UTR level. His tennis training YouTube channel was the fastest growing tennis channel in May 2024.

As a junior player he was a top player in the state, winning state championships for Katy Taylor in 1998 and 1999. With over 20 Mens Open level Texas tournaments won he was also top 5 in Texas 2007-2010. In doubles he was also #1 in the state in 2018. He also was top 5 in Mens National 30s singles in USTA 2014. He continued to improve his game adding elements from his books to continue to raise his level even into adult play.

A rare combination of both player and coach that knows how to teach the game using his skill based training system and play the game as a player which helped him develop his pressure training system. These to qualities make him versatile in teaching all levels

He has a son (Legend) and wife (Hiliana) who are both actively involved in the game of tennis.
